TAoRW: Character Sheet: Introvixen

The Adventures of Retail Warrior
This is a rather silly but very fun project I've been working on, making comic-book-style superheroes based very loosely on colleagues/events from the local shop I work at. I decided to try and develop a hyper-stylised art style to fit the comic-book theme and put into practice a lot of what I've been learning about character design and the design process. Each character's aesthetics stem from a collection of shapes and colours that fit their theme, a process I decided to try after seeing this (foxprints.com/tracy/character_…) in tracyjb's wonderfully educational journal entry (tracyjb.deviantart.com/).

Introvixen (formerly Sunday McNuggets):
Oh where to start :3 Introvixen is an alien (technically a Zarblogian, though humans are incapable of pronouncing it right) who crash-landed on Earth. Her opinion of our planet isn't exactly high: it's dirty, and smelly, and full of humans, which she tries to avoid in most cases. In fact, she was mid-way through her attempt to leave when she happened to have some chicken nuggets, which were so delicious she decided to stay after all. Somehow (please don't ask xD) she managed to get a job at the local shop, where she has managed to find a group of humans that can be considered as tolerable \/ She is especially close with Timber; in fact she's the only character who doesn't realise that he's not human, due to her limited exposure to our species~ (this misconception doesn't even change when he transforms into a tank)

To the superhero group she brings a huge amount of potential, but doesn't often use it f^^ She has immense psyionic capabilities but doesn't like using them to manipulate 'icky human minds'. She also has considerable control over gravity, but mainly uses this to float above the ground so she doesn't have to get her feet dirty.

Other trivia: she is incredibly good at throwing (being able to accurately hit a target from as much as 596 miles away) and this was the talent she displayed during the 'talent' section of the Miss Andromeda competition, which she has won four years in a row. She is currently hoping to add Miss Milky Way to her collection of sashes~
